Description
Luigi Curci was born in Rossano (CS). As a teenager, he joined the youth sector of Cosenza Calcio, where he played in the Youth and National Students categories, after a brief period among amateurs, he decided, in conjunction with his enrollment in the Faculty of Motor Sciences at the University of Chieti, to start his career as a goalkeeper coach. He began with the Sant'Anna Basic Activity and then moved to Sambuceto Calcio (Excellence) where for 3 seasons he takes care of the goalkeepers of the first team and the Youth Sector. In the 2018/2019 season he joined the staff of Pescara Calcio where for 3 years he held the position of goalkeeping coach for the national Under 16/15/14 categories of Serie A and B, after a period of one year at Teramo Calcio where he trained the goalkeepers of Spring 3, he returned to Pescara Calcio as coach of the Primavera 2 goalkeepers and coordinator of the goalkeepers in the youth sector. Since 2022 he has been a B1 coach and a member of the Buffon Academy. Since the 2024/2025 season he has been the coach of the Chieti F.C. goalkeepers in Series D (Group F) FIGC is qualified as the Coach of the Amateur Goalkeepers and Youth Sector (GKC).
