Description
At the age of 7, I started practicing Athletics, becoming more and more prominent in my youth years and then confirming myself in the competitive categories. While cultivating athletics at the top national level, I started Psychology in Florence and a one-year internship at Dr. Prof. Notarnicola's gym in Coverciano, which brought me very close to disability and sport. In 2000 I was appointed manager in Grosseto for a project called Active Environmentalism that he conceived that aimed at the inclusion of disability through sport. Meanwhile, Athletics gave me great satisfaction with various calls for the World Cross Championships in Dublin 2002, Lausanne 2003, triangular in France in 3000 meters, etc. And finally, the realization of a great dream has arrived: joining the Army sports group. With the Army, I confirmed myself for many years in the top 5 Italians on several specialties, signing various national and international team medals (including world military medals). In 2010 I returned to Grosseto and was transferred to the military veterinary center where I still work today. Since 2013 I have been appointed head of volunteers for the city of Grosseto and delegated by the Italian national and regional Paralympic Committee. Since then I have guided between 200 and 500 volunteers to national and international FIDAL and FISPES athletics events. Also in 2013, I created an association of volunteers (called skeep) who support more than 50 children with disabilities through 9 free sports activities. I continued to race both at absolute level until 2016 and in the master category, winning several European Championships and an indoor world championship
