History of boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two opponents compete with fists with gloves. The history of boxing is very ancient and dates back to ancient Greece, where boxing was practiced during the Olympic Games. Originally, boxers fought with their bare hands and wore only a leather band around their wrists to

protect their hands.

As time went on, boxing became increasingly regulated and gloves were introduced to protect boxers' hands and make combat safer.
